Waitangi explantion

Why do we celebrate Waitangi Day?
We celebrate Waitangi day on 6 February, we have been celebrating Waitangi since 6 February 1840

Every year on 6 February, New Zealand marks the signing of the treaty of Waitangi day.

The treaty being signed is remembered as waitangi day and in 1974 is when it was first declared as a public holiday.

In 1840 February 6 the british sent over William Hobson to sign the treaty of Waitangi so that New Zealand could be a part of the laws. They signed in the treaty and James busby’s house.

I think Waitangi day should be always remembered.
Many of the pakeha and the maori’s celebrate this event.

Waitangi will be carried forever.

I know someone who can......

I know someone who can…..

I know someone who can
make a flower by using their tongue.
I know someone who can
pretend to burp.
I know someone who can
lift both eyes up and you will see a white blank eyes.
I know someone who can
lift up their first toe up and leave the rest, down flat.
I know someone who can
slide their top lip one way and their bottom lip the other way.

I know someone who can
pretend to like something as she, is excited, that she’s not that excited.
I know someone who can
walk slow like an elephant.
and that someone is ME.
